Travel to Baja California

BCS, Baja California Sur! Finally, after months of eager anticipation and thanks to Adriano's excellent organisational work, we fulfilled our dream of experiencing (even if only for 10 days) this unique corner of the world.

Adriano and his team, with their invaluable advice, allowed us to enjoy a well-organised tour while maintaining the right amount of freedom between stops. What we saw and experienced will remain in our thoughts and hearts for a long time. We travelled approximately 1600 km with the rented pick-up truck. Thanks to the smartphone equipped with apps for road and off-road navigation, itineraries with destinations and points of interest, and a group chat with the team for 24/7 assistance, everything went perfectly. We highly recommend planning a trip to explore places where time stands still, and nature takes its course.

Recently, I completed a 16-day trip to Baja California Sur. I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the place and the variety of experiences and attractions the region offers. I must say that much of this positive impression is due to the attentive and organised travel method of Baja California Travel. Their approach, which combines a highly flexible and customisable format with a rich selection of major attractions, allows travellers the freedom to tailor their journey while benefiting from valuable suggestions and a truly reliable organisation. Of course, there were some unforeseen events, and I must mention a minor issue: the lack of professionalism from the agency that provided the rental vehicle. However, this can only partially be attributed to BCT. The rest is part of the unpredictability of travel, which contributes to making a trip to Baja California a genuine adventure rather than a simple tourist tour. I would also add, which is no small thing these days, that for some of the inconveniences, including delays caused by airlines, Adriano (our BCT contact) promptly reimbursed us for unused services upon our return. As a surgeon, I believe professionalism is one of the most important forms of feedback a client can receive, beyond the final outcome. Absolutely recommendable... and there’s still so much more to see!

The only reason I'm giving them 5 stars is that I can't give them twelve. The entire team was extraordinarily professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. We booked an 11-day trip, and after an initial consultation where we explained what we were looking for, they came back to us with an initial plan. We shared our feedback, and after a couple of drafts, we arrived at a great plan. The holiday was fantastic – it's a beautiful part of the world – and all the activities, hotels, and equipment that Baja Travel booked for us were exactly what we were looking for. Everything was extremely well thought out, with plenty of options to choose from. Their attention to detail is impeccable: we received a phone with all the maps preloaded, a PDF of the trip with links to maps (including many off-road routes you can't find elsewhere), deck chairs, a parasol, a cooler bag, and a first aid kit. We came across the team at Baja California Travel through friends who had organised a road trip with them a few years ago. And it was the best choice to make the most of this wonderful land! Thanks to the advice and support of Adriano and his team, we managed to capture the true spirit of Baja California. We followed unbeaten trails through breathtaking deserts, discovered hidden rock paintings, and the boat excursions were always well-organised... swimming with sea lions and the whale shark will stay in our hearts forever!
